Additions, Remodels & ADUs
We are experienced at executing all kinds of residential projects. From drafting initial designs and obtaining permits, to planning and carrying out the building work, to meticulously crafting finish work, we can help your vision come to life.
Two Story Home Addition - In Progress
We are currently building a two-story home addition, which will include a new primary bedroom suite with a spacious bathroom and closet, a vaulted dining space, and a carefully detailed deck atop a flat roof. This addition was custom designed by our company – read more about our design
Primary Bathroom Remodel
This remodel transformed our clients’ cramped, dark and dated bathroom. We added a window for natural light and ventilation; we crafted a meticulously waterproofed dry-pack shower pan and wall tile backer; we expertly installed wall and floor tiles. The new sliding shower door and pocket door make the room feel more spacious. Handcrafted custom walnut trim profiles with recessed
LED lighting and high-end finishes complete the transformation.
McKenzie River Artist’s Studio
We replaced an existing shed with an inspiring, light-filled artist studio overlooking Oregon’s stunning McKenzie River. Positioned within a riparian setback, the studio was confined to the footprint of the former shed. Details include exposed beams sourced from a local mill and a vaulted ceiling with south-facing dormer windows.
Custom Kitchen Transformation
We took our client’s kitchen from dated and damaged to highly functional and serene. The upgrades include custom-designed and built baltic birch cabinets, concrete countertops, and charred cork floor tiles. We added bracing to the existing floor joists to support the structural load of the new island and its concrete countertops
Bathroom Remodel
We took our clients' bathroom from outdated to sleek and modern. The transformation included replacing the existing tub-shower combo with a custom tiled shower, a new shower door, and new shower fixtures. We also replaced their vanity, mirror and other fixtures for a harmonious look.
Ceramic Studio
This completely custom backyard ceramic studio balances function and beauty. Inside, we prioritized easy-to-clean surfaces, cross-ventilation, and abundant natural light. Outside, cedar ties in the soffits, entryway, and deck; and a shed roof maximized ceiling height while ensuring the studio did not overtake our client’s backyard.
New Office at Hot Springs Retreat
We built a new office for a hot springs retreat in Eastern Oregon. We framed the structure, installed the roof, built the attached deck, and helped pour the concrete floor. We installed windows, doors, interior and exterior board and bat rough sawn siding, and unique wainscotting reclaimed from a 200-year-old barn. The completed office complements the desert scenery and surrounding resort structures and is a perfect representation of our client's aesthetic.
We designed and constructed a van conversion customized especially for our client’s needs as a traveling photographer. Our design features a custom off-grid electrical system, instant hot water, a refrigerator, gas stove, and an innovative pull-out shower drawer. The van also features a dinning table that comfortably seats four and seamlessly converts into a bed platform.
Ram Promaster Conversion
Craftsman Basement Restoration
We repaired major demolition work done by a mold mitigation team, while simultaneously making upgrades to the space. We performed complex carpentry tasks, repairing craftsman door jambs and casings and installing new craftsman baseboards. We completed an extensive amount of drywall repair and installed new solid cork flooring.
High Desert Cafe & Restaurant (In Progress)
We have helped transform a 19th century barn with reclaimed materials into a beautiful soon-to-be cafe and restaurant. We have collaborated closely with the owner and architect on design and permitting for this project. Our other work has included pouring new concrete slabs with radiant flooring, demolishing and rebuilding a second story office, and building new design features such as a stage and exposed beams using 100-year-old railroad ties. We have ensured compliance with fire and ADA codes throughout the project.
Open-Tread Staircase
Our clients needed a staircase built to provide access to an attic that was turned into a musician’s studio. We designed and built them a beautiful and sturdy staircase that will stand the test of time. The staircase was built with solid red oak treads and LVL stringers.
Our company was subcontracted to assist with framing and truss installation for a new house and shop combination. We helped the general contractor complete framing at a fast pace, keeping the project on track to meet its deadline.
